Disqualified

Sadly, I did not perform due diligence with my petition to get on the ballot. I allowed some people to print their name and didn't insist that they sign with their signature so a number of my names on my petition were disqualified. I had 23 recognized and registered voters' signatures and I needed 25. This is a lesson for me in precision. One I will learn from and try again in 2025. Please join me then.

I learned when I testified before the Ohio Senate Education Committee that everyone who wished to provide testimony was labeled one of three things: "proponent" [of the legislation], "opponent" or "interested party." When I testified for the House Budget Bill in 2018 (and served on a legislative committee in 2021), I was a proponent, but when the Senate wanted to amend HB154, I offered opponent testimony. School Board Candidate Jenny Kluchar

Here we go again! So we had a great experience with Canton Local Schools this year with Ben! We started off pretty rocky and struggled most of the first 9 weeks, but he grew, he matured, he gave up fighting writing, and his entire team were impressed with his growth this year. That's the mark of an outstanding team! I am privileged to be a part of that team as Ben's Mom, but I'm now interested in serving the district. I declared my candidacy in Canfield when we lived there in July 2019. Now that we live in Canton South, I am interested in serving again on the school board, should the community choose to have me. I have 3 years experience on a Local School Board in Ohio, vetted and helped select 3 replacement Board members upon resignation, assisted in hiring a Superintendent, and supported the schools while navigating the first ever Pandemic in modern history.
